Reconnecting to your body.
Breathwork is the intentional practice of working with your breath to bring awareness to your body, your emotions, and your present experience. It offers an opportunity to step away from everyday demands, quiet the mental noise, and create space to listen inward.
At Divine Assignments, breathwork is a guided experience that brings together conscious breathing, music, grounding, and time for integration. My approach invites you to explore the connection between how you breathe, what you feel, and how you move through life—with curiosity, compassion, and respect for your own pace.
Gentle, slow breathing can support the body’s relaxation response, helping you feel calmer and more grounded in your body.
Stress can make your breathing faster or shallower. Intentional, comfortable breathing exercises may help reduce feelings of stress.
Guided breathwork brings attention to your breath, physical sensations, and emotions. At Divine Assignments in Miami, sessions offer space to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
We breathe every day, often without noticing it. During a breathwork session, we bring conscious attention to that process, exploring guided breathing patterns and periods of natural breathing and rest.
Some practices are gentle and settling; others can feel more active or emotionally expressive. The approach depends on the session, your needs, and what feels appropriate for you.
This is an invitation to notice your experience without needing to explain, judge, or immediately change it. You do not have to force a release, reach a particular state, or have a profound experience for the session to be meaningful.
You may notice a sense of calm, heightened body awareness, emotions coming to the surface, or simply the relief of taking uninterrupted time for yourself. Some sessions feel expressive; others feel quiet and restful.
There is no required response. Tears, insights, and emotional intensity are not measures of progress. A subtle experience can be just as meaningful.
If you feel dizzy, overwhelmed, or uncomfortable, you are encouraged to return to your natural breath.
Breathwork offers space to:
• Slow down and make room for rest.
• Explore breathing practices that may support relaxation.
• Become more aware of your body, physical sensations and emotional responses.
• Practice meeting yourself with greater patience and compassion.
• Develop a grounding practice you can return to in everyday life.
The intention is to build a more attentive relationship with yourself one breath at a time.
The experience does not end when the breathing practice finishes. Integration means taking time to notice what arose and consider how it relates to your everyday life.
Through reflection, journaling, conversation, or simple grounding practices, we explore what feels useful to carry forward. This may be an insight, a clearer understanding of a need, or a reminder to give yourself more room to rest.

DNA activation is a process that occurs once you begin to create a more in-depth awareness of the actions and reactions you have in your life experience.
In this process, we begin to unblock the things (programmed onto us by our bloodline) to achieve our highest potential.
At conception, we receive certain matched and paired recessive genes from our parents. DNA activation occurs naturally when we are born. Two strands of DNA are activated to give us all the information that we need for our life on earth as humans and as descendants of the parents that we chose.
There are segments of DNA that scientists could not explain or find a purpose related to the physical body and decided to call “Junk.”
These are our connection to the Divine, our spiritual abilities, the memory of who we are, and how we can communicate with source/the creator of all - and all higher beings.
These non-coding segments comprise 98% of our DNA and contain all the information allowing us to understand our divine purpose. Once they are activated, we can continue activating more segments and accessing more knowledge and wisdom.
